A staple choice for many joiners, Red Pine is available in set widths and thicknesses. Paints well. 19 and 25mm are predominantly the cleanest in terms of knot content. All our Red Pine is ‘Unsorted’ quality, the highest grade in Finnish timber graidng.

Density: 340 kg/m³
A reddish softwood with a low density, making it great for applications like saunas. Also used for boat building.

Southern Yellow Pine Kiln Dried
Thicknesses available: 25.4mm x 300mm, 38.1mm x 300mm, 50.8mm x 300mm
Density: 670 kg/m³
Less knot content than Red Pine, available in set widths of 300mm. Available in 25mm, 38mm and 50mm. Used mostly for skirtings.

Density: 530 kg/m³
North American softwood that has a distinct grain. Used for a range of applications including windows, boat building, and stairs.
